Compliance
How Kesy handles calling rules, recording and data protection in India.
Our approach
Kesy makes and answers calls for real businesses, so it has to follow the rules for recording, AI disclosure, outbound calling and data protection. Where we can enforce a rule in the product, we do — so it doesn’t depend on someone remembering.
Calling in India
- TRAI TCCCPR, 2018. Commercial calls are regulated by TRAI. You may only call contacts who have agreed to hear from you, and you must respect DND (Do Not Disturb) preferences for promotional calls.
- Calling hours. Campaigns run only inside the calling window you set for each campaign.
- Opt-outs. If a person asks not to be called again, Kesy flags it after the call and adds the number to your block list.
- Trial safeguard. During the free trial, campaigns can only call your own registered test numbers — never real customers.
Inbound calls and recording
- Kesy records and transcribes calls so you can review them.
- Kesy never pretends to be a person. If a caller asks whether they are talking to an AI, it says yes.
- Kesy will transfer to a human when your rules say so, and takes a message when it can’t help.
Data protection
We handle personal information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Security page. We never sell your data or your callers’ data.
